According to this Business Week article, the mobile division of gaming giant Electronic Arts (EA Mobile, formerly JAMDAT) is in talks with Apple about the possibility of creating games for the iPhone. Apple sourced five iPod games from EA Mobile last year.
The article quotes Mitch Lasky, senior vice-president of EA Mobile, as saying, “We have been talking to Apple about games on [the iPhone]… We see a lot of the technology that we’ve utilized on the iPod side being incorporated into the iPhone.”
Creating games for the iPhone would be an interesting design challenge, given the handset’s touch-screen-only interface, but also one that might open the door to some novel gameplay. Or another version of Tetris.

Well that would just happen to be pretty cool with games on a phone like that, I bet kids are already saving up and begging their parents.
