It’s not the first – HSBC and First Direct launched an m-banking app last year – but mobile firm Masabi says its new Java banking application is the most sophisticated, letting users securely view their account details, statements and balances, as well as making transactions.
Don’t rush for your phone yet: Masabi is now looking for partners (i.e. banks) to launch the application under their brand. But we’ll keep you posted as soon as it becomes commercially available.
In the meantime, post your thoughts: would you feel comfortable banking on your phone?
