iPhone manufacturing gears-up

iphone rotatingAccording to Apple Insider, Apple has asked the companies supplying parts for the iPhone to start deliveries to its Taiwanese manufacturing plant by April. The company making the iPhone’s printed circuit board has been told to begin shipments by early April, according to the China Economic News Service.

Doubtless this will re-spark internet rumours that Apple is planning to ship iPhone ahead of its current June (US) release date, but it seems more likely that the company will want to be sure that any manufacturing bugs are ironed out in time for launch. It almost goes without saying that Apple absolutely cannot afford to screw this one up.
