Sennheiser joins Bluetooth headset party

BW 900Respected headphone/ headset maker Sennheiser has announced it is bringing out two new Bluetooth mobile phone headsets. The first is the 26g BW 900 (shown right), which is claimed to neatly segue between PC and mobile calls at the touch of a button and (we love this) is able to automatically adjust volume levels according on how much background noise is around you.

The smaller 15g VMX 100 features trademarked ‘VoiceMax’ dual microphone tech which, backed up by some nifty digital signal processing magic, helps filter-out background noise from your calls. It also has a ‘3D ball-joint’ at the point where the unit arches over the top of your ear, allowing for the mic to be adjusted to a comfortable position. Sennheiser expects the BW 900 to ship in May and the VMX 100 in June.
