Cor. 4GB is enough to hold up to 1,000 songs, 2,000 high-res photos or 20 hours of MPEG4 video, reckons SanDisk. Its new 4GB Memory Stick Micro card has just been announced, and will work with Sony Ericsson’s latest Walkman and Cyber-shot mobile phones. If you’ve got the right adapter, you can also use it in Sony digital cameras and the PSP.
It goes on sale later this year, although a price hasn’t yet been decided. “This is the threshold at which mobile phones provide enough capacity to become the user’s all-in-one portable music player, camcorder, photo album and video player,” says SanDisk’s Norm Frentz.
