We wrote about this the other day when it was just a rumour, but Orange confirmed yesterday that it has signed an exclusive deal with social networking site Bebo to create a mobile version. The exclusivity lasts for a few months – Orange hasn’t said how long exactly – and will allow users to edit their profiles and receive alerts from friends, among other features. There’ll also be a special club for Bebo users on Orange giving access to film and gig tickets. The mobile version is due to launch this summer, going head to head with Vodafone’s MySpace Mobile, which is under a similar exclusive deal.
