Our fine Finnish friends at Nokia have added a little more love to their L’Amour range (sorry, ‘applied this collection’s remarkable design language to a sliding configuration’) with the first CDMA phone in the range, the slide-design 7088.
It’s clear we’re supposed to be getting all hot under the collar over the 7088’s ‘jewel-like select key’ and ‘leather-inspired textures’ but the 128 x 160 pixel display leaves us sitting on the edge of the bed, wondering why we’re there. There are no other tech specs to speak of yet, but like the rest of the L’Amour range (7360, 7373, 7390), the 7088 seems to be all flash, a bit of fash, and not a lot of dash, we think.
