Vodafone set to give Vodafone Live a Googly revamp

At least, that’s the report coming out of the operator’s analyst day yesterday, in which Vodafone’s UK CEO Nick Read said that Google will be revamping Vodafone Live, making it more of an open-internet portal. Apparently MySpace, YouTube and eBay will all have a presence on the portal’s homepage, following their deals with Vodafone earlier this year. Read also said that Vodafone will introduce a new flat-rate data tariff to ensure that users don’t get stung for data charges while surfing these services too.
