‘Brick’ phones make a comeback

brick phoneThe ever resourceful guys over at Slashphone have found a follow-up to the 2005 revival of Motorola’s 8900x 1980s ‘brick’ phone, in the shape of this BW-A888 piggyback device for modern handsets.

Sourced in China (are we heading towards the time where we need to re-coin the phrase, ‘Only in China’ instead of ‘Only in Japan’?), the brick adapter not only offers you cool (?) retro style action, but also has an in-built compass. It doesn’t get much better than that does it?
