Don’t take your mobile phone to Glasgow

phonesafe.jpgWhy not? Because the city has just been named as one of the three worst places for mobile theft, along with Belfast and Liverpool. That’s according to CPP Phonesafe figures, mind, which also indicate that one in five people in the UK have had at least one mobile nicked in the past. Unsurprisingly, pubs are often the venue for these thefts, which I’m guessing is a combination of people leaving their phone on the table and then having it snatched, and them getting drunk and leaving it behind, for someone else to filch.

More crime sweeping the mobile community? Maybe the site should be renamed pickpockets.co. uk? :)
