“We recognize that having the capability to utilize the mobile phone in many ways gives consumers a better balance between work and play,” says Peter Ropke, Senior VP, Mobile Phones, Nokia. Well, if working and playing Nokia-style is gonna mean we have sweet phones like this new 6120 Classic then we’re with you, Pete, we’re with you.
With HSDPA high-speed 3G support, a two megapixel camera with panorama mode on the back and a lower-rez one on the front for video calls, the 6120 Classic is our kind of phone - especially with a expected off-contract price of just €260 (£175).
Nokia hasn’t officially said which version of S60 the 6120 Classic offers (or what the screen rez is), but we’re assuming it is v.3, which makes this a nice mid-step follow-on from the 6680 and similar-spec handsets. Oh, and it’s also available in black.
Update: word is that the screen is QVGA (240 x 320) and the phone is S60 v.3
