Free web 2.0 widgets for your mobile from CallWave

SMS_Widget4_small.gifHow long before all of our gadgets can do what all of our gadgets can do? Mobiles are getting more and more like computers all the time and now thanks to CallWave, computers can start acting a bit more like mobiles to. Software company CallWave has a couple of interesting new downloads it calls, ‘free Web 2.0 widgets’.

The first is basically a program that sends text messages via a computer. Available in the US and Canada, users can send unlimited texts within either America or Canada and up to five messages a day to other countries absolutely free.

The second free widget syncs a computer with a mobile for a visual voicemail service (sorry folks but this is a USA only release). The service works with a range of carriers including Cingular, Verizon, T-Mobile, and over 30 others and certainly makes keeping track of voicemail easier.

So please all of our readers across the pond, download these so that CallWave starts offering cool free wodgets to us Euro types. It’s the least you could do considering you are already getting the iPhone first.
