Okay, a short disclaimer: Pocket Picks is in no way sexist. We’re mainly covering this strange, new mobile app out of a kind of morbid fascination… And also in the hope that maybe we don’t fully understand the intent.
The app in questions is called My Girls, and carries the short description: ‘This program keeps you informed about your girl(s).’ Sounds innocuous enough. It’s probably something fairly innocent like a dating calendar, right…?
Not so, we’re afraid. It is in fact a sort of calendar, but one that is designed to help keep track of one or more girl’s ‘female cycle’. The idea is that you key in some relevant dates and My Girls tells you something about each lady’s mental state. Seriously.
Unfortunately the only detail on what mental states are covered provided by the product overview was ‘her lust for sex etc’. Oh dear. Not exactly progressive, 21st Century stuff, but we suppose this app could conceivably be a useful aid for those thoughtful or concerned about their better half.
