Just a brief note to say that the Nokia N95’s first firmware update has been posted by Nokia — but you have to do a little digging to find it, according to the guys on this N95 forum. Although the 11.0.026 update is available from Nokia, it’s Phone Software Updater page doesn’t yet list the N95, which seems to be because the update doesn’t currently work on all versions of the phone. To find it you, need to download the N80 or E61 updater which will then find the N95 update (if your handset is compatible).
There are various stability and performance improvements in the update, but the biggest news seems to be related to the N95’s camera. Various sites are reporting a major improvement in image quality, decreasing issues with colour and image over-sharpening. If the patch works for you, let us know what you think.
camera seem the same as be4 i updated phone,
wi-fi sometimes make the phone restart
but the phone shuts down and starts up faster
also the gps is faster at loading and finding signals
Interesting… I’ve been trying to root around and find a story I read recently that had some before and after (the firmware upgrade was done) shots taken with the N95. There was a big improvement - especially in the colour quality and overall sharpness. I also read that the camera is faster to use now too.
The camera sharpness is too low now :(, esp. when taking in yellow light lid room…
And what’s with the marco? It’s impossible for me to take picture of words/letter at close range…

i am downloading the firmware update now and was interested to read people’s experiences, but the question i have is: has anyone else had an issue connecting bluetooth devices and if so has this update resolved it. as yet i have been unable to connect bt headsets and it is driving me radio rental

well i gt v.12.0.014 on my phone but the cam hasn’t changed
does any one no how much memmory our phone can support lol is it 6 or 4 gd micro sdhc card and is there going to be a new battery or what cos like my phone lasts like 5 hours when i listen to music and take photos.lol i neeed help and lol ill get to the point the camera quality is so much better i recon but it still takes like 3 sec to take a photo whitch annoys me because i take photos for a school newsletter and for sport and stuff im allways missing the correct mament.lol

i updated with the latest 12..0.013 V and noticed that the camera quality has been reduced.
the flash has stoped working the way it did earlier…
