Coca Cola launching mobile social networking site

coca-cola.jpgCoca-Cola is creating a ‘me to’ MySpace style social networking site called the Sprite Yard, specifically for mobiles in an attempt to lure more young-uns into buying its drinks.

Setting the site up under the Sprite brand, members will be able to create profiles, post pictures and meet new friends (and catch all the latest Coke based advertising no doubt). The site will also offer free music and video clips to members, activated by codes printed on the underside of bottle lids.

The site which is already available in China will be releasing in the US on June 22nd with other regions set to follow.

Here’s to rotten teeth then.
