Also announced as part of the Sony Ericsson news-onslaught were some new accessories for the brand-conscious music lover. Along with a few new sets of headphones (one of which is being ably demonstrated above), there was a dock/ charging station called ‘Music Desk Stand’, an iPod iTrip-style FM transmitter to broadcast your phone’s music to your car/ home hi-fi, and a new Stereo Bluetooth headset. Pics and specs after the jump.
This is the Music Desk Stand, which is compatible with most of the recent SE handsets. The company says that, ‘Either use it as a battery-powered standalone player or plug it in and listen through the speakers on your desk.’ But it hasn’t released any specs for the in-built speakers so we’re not expecting much… Seems a bit like a pointless, large lump of plastic to us.

This might prove more useful — the FM Music Transmitter. Presumably you set the frequency via the handset in some way. No word on whether it transmits in mono or stereo (a lot of the early iPod FM transmitters were mono-only, which wasn’t something their makers shouted about, funnily enough).

And finally, this is the new Bluetooth headset, the HBH-DS200. You can control music functions via its control pack.
