The first live images of Nokia’s new N-Gage Platform have started doing the rounds; ours is a tarted-up version of the one posted by Symbian France and picked-up by Just Another Mobile Phone Blog.
It’s good to see proof that the new N-Gage Platform is alive and well, and looking nicely similar to the movies on the N-Gage ‘futurewatch’ site.
The N-Gage Platform is a bit like Xbox Live for mobiles; it sets a standard for game developers to work to, and a creates a way to link players together in a Friends List kind of way. It’s not a phone. Or a taco.
Nokia has just announced it’s sponsoring the GC Developers Conference (GDC) sessions at the Leipzig games conference in late August, so expect to hear a lot more about N-Gage at that time.
