The Future? It’s tree-based offices, says Windows Mobile

treeoffice.jpgInsert your own ‘Microsoft must be out of their tree’ joke here. Yep, Microsoft claims to have set up the world’s first public ‘tree-office’ in London’s Pimlico Gardens, which was designed to prove that people can work from anywhere (even if it means battering squirrels with your laptop if they try to nibble through your power lines).

The tree-office is being dismantled now following the experiment, but you can read how it went via Microsoft’s moof.mobi blog via the link below.

I’m not quite sure where Windows Mobile fits into a bloke sitting in a tree-house working on a laptop – but imagine if he was holed up in one of those mobile phone masts that are disguised as trees? The reception would be marvellous…
