Still if you’re feeling particularly desperate to own one, why not pop along to eBay and try your luck on the online auction merry-go-round. It’s been flooded with iPhones already — which of course won’t work in the UK so you’d be wasting your money. One eBayer here is asking $2100 (£1050) to ‘buy now’ the 8GB model, while bidding starts at $900 (£450). Or you could just wait and pay the normal $499/ $599 (£250/ £300) when Apple restocks…
