That’s according to Wall Street Journal tech writer Walt Mossberg, who claims that the controversially-missing Adobe Flash plug-in for Apple’s iPhone is coming soon via a software update for the handset.
The lack of Java and Flash technologies are two of the few aspects of the iPhone that have been roundly criticised, but Apple has long-said that the handset’s software will be regularly updated — so it’s good to hear it holding true to its promise.
But if Flash is coming to iPhone anyway, all of this makes us wonder what’s really behind Apple persuading YouTube to re-encode its entire video library in Quicktime rather than Flash?
