Italian man writes novel on his Nokia 6630

nokia_6630.jpgAn Italian man whose ability to make good use of his time makes us here at Pocket Picks feel positively lazy, has written a novel on his mobile phone. Writing in short bursts, Robert Bernocco wrote the 384 page sci-fi novel (how apt) on a Nokia 6630 on his way to work every day over the course of 17 weeks.

After writing the sections each day, Bernocco downloaded them onto his computer for proof reading and editing. The finished book has been self published on Lulu.com and whether it is any good or not (unfortunately there are no Italian speakers among us Pocket Pickers) the manner in which it was written alone deserves applause. And to think we spend bus journeys playing games.
