A new version of the LG Prada KE850 is rumoured to be in the works, sans flashy designer branding. The touch-screen toting device, dubbed (according to the good folks at TechDigest) the KU990, is also rumoured to contain a far superior 5-MP camera with flash and the ability to capture macro still images and 320×240 videos at four times the speed of the current 120fps.
Most notably, the device is also said to contain a HSDPA modem. Quite a high profile feature add and certainly in keeping tech-wise with LG’s big plans for YouTube functionality in its handsets.
It is not known for sure whether the device (if it exists at all) will have dropped the Prada branding when it sees the light of day. To be honest we wouldn’t care is it was Branded by Ginsters Cornish Pasties if it is released with these features upgrades. More on this as soon as we get confirmation.
