Pocket Picks has been invited to a Samsung UK phone launch on Thursday evening in London and there are strong rumours circulating that a five-megapixel camera phone is going to be unveiled. This speculation has been fuelled further by a story over at Mobile Whack revealing the SGH-G600 – a five-megapixel camera phone to rival the Nokia N95 in the pixel power stakes.
This slider looks like it could be a member of the Ultra Edition range and we’re lead to believe it has 3G capabilities, 2.3-inch QVGA-quality display, built-in media player, microSD card slot and Bluetooth. Samsung’s tag line for the launch - ‘Image is Everything’ – is pretty ambiguous, either signifying a high level imaging device or another emaciated stylish slider with the emphasis on design. Of course Pocket Picks will bring you the news so look out for our report on Thursday.
