iPhone in ‘major’ European countries by end of September (this year)

As noticed by Engadget, Apple confirmed during its financial statement conference call that its iPhone will arrive in ‘major’ European countries (guessed to be at least France, Germany and the UK) the end of the company’s fourth financial quarter. Which means the end of September, in human-speak.

Also noted is that Apple mentioned it will soon announce which ‘carriers‘ it will be partnering with for the European iPhone release, which seems to end speculation that Vodafone might have secured a pan-European deal. We’re still hoping that Apple will see sense and include 3G support for Europe.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t include 3G. They’d be laughed out the market if they didn’t.

Yeah, you say that, and it makes sense, but…
