Shozu, the mobile picture blogging provider, has struck its second deal with a manufacturer to embed its Share-It image upload service on handsets. The new deal, with Samsung for its L760 3G cameraphone, follows a similar announcement with Motorola last month.
Share-It lets cameraphone users upload photos, videos and text to over two dozen Internet networking sites like YouTube, Facebook, Flickr, Windows Live Spaces and Blogger. More sites are being added all the time.
Shozu’s long-term strategy is to secure more manufacturer partnerships to boost its licensing revenues and expand its user base. However, the burgeoning Shozu-manufacturers love affair is a good move for both parties - Shozu is keen to expand its user base, while manufacturers get a pre-installed application on their handsets letting users instantly upload photos to their blogs.
