We first covered VirtualRadio back in January when we noted that it seemed like a useful way of broadening your mobile musical horizons. The app is used to browse and stream internet radio stations on your mobile, and comes in S60 3rd Edition and various other flavours.
The latest release now adds wi-fi connectivity to its list of tricks, which obviously removes the need for a data plan — or at least reduces your dependence on it. The £10 ($20) VirtualRadio app was Commended at the GSMA Global Mobile Awards in Barcelona back in February, and is available for download now from Handango.
