Samsung readies Windows Mobile powered i620 slider smartphone

i620.jpgIt was only two days ago that Pocket Picks reported on the Symbian-based i570 smartphone. This compact slider would make Alan Sugar proud with all the right features to make it in the business world – HSDPA, built-in Wi-Fi, sliding full QWERTY keyboard to name a few. Well, according to Gizmo News, Samsung is now set to launch a similar device and follow-up to the i600 as early as September.

The i620 looks exactly like the i570 in terms of the front design and packs all the same features like HSDPA and Wi-Fi but the keyboard layout is different, following the i600’s arrangement, while its powered by a Windows Mobile 6 OS. We also know it harbours a two-megapixel snapper. September isn’t far off but we still don’t know what regions or networks are taking it up.
