Player X is about to bring some hulking giant technology to everybody’s favorite piece of teensy-weensy technology via a deal with the brand management company, TV-Loonland.
The deal gives Player X the mobile video rights to release on demand clips of the original animated Transformers movie, the original animated series and the up until now Japanese only Transformers Takara series.
Something of a mobile video pioneer, Player X recently launched its second made-for-mobile channel, Zapper TV, on Verizon Wireless’s VCast channel. This follows the successful geekTV mobile channel (a Pocket Picks fave) which was instrumental in Player X being nominated as Best Video & TV Service Provider at this year’s upcoming Mobile Entertainment Awards.
