Nokia is developing the first mobile social networking site from a mobile manufacturer and is inviting users to help test it. It’s calling the site ‘Mosh’.
Mosh is described by Nokia as, ‘a user-generated content platform designed specifically for use with any mobile device’, so presumably this means not just Nokia devices can use it.
It will let you upload, share, collect or download all kinds of media on your mobile and to your PC desktop. The content can include — ready for this? — audio, video, games, applications, documents and photos, ‘mashups’ (moshups?) and even blogs.
According to Pocket Lint, Mosh will let you browse other users’ accounts and share media with friends, and content can also be ‘collected’ – in other words, bookmarked for later access and organised into categories.
If MySpace, Facebook, Twitter or other social networking sites seem a little passé, then try something new by registering for an invite to the Beta testing at the Mosh website now.
