Rummaging through iPhone-related stuff is certainly paying dividends at the moment, with iPhone World reporting that references have been found in the latest version of iTunes which relate to removing games from an iPhone. The two pieces of text are said to be:
/* ===== iPhone Game Item Strings ===== */
“4329.001″ = “Are you sure you want to remove the selected game from your iPhone?â€;
“4329.002″ = “Are you sure you want to remove the selected games from your iPhone?â€;
We’ve known since February that games behemoth Electronic Arts is working on iPhone games, so it’s only a matter of time before some official titles are released for Apple’s phone. In the meantime, however, the hacking/ modding community is hard at work bringing classic games to iPhone, the latest (also via iPhone World) being a non-playable version of id Software’s seminal shoot ‘em up, Doom.
Oh, and Apple also released two new iPhone ads over the weekend, called Amazing and Instead. Both are themed around how much the iPhone does, and that you don’t need to carry around an iPod and a phone. Unless you like having more than about 7GB worth of music with you, of course.
