Pocket Picks has already given you the heads up on LG’s rumoured N95-baiting multimedia device, the KU990 (aka NYX), back in July, but new more concrete reports have emerged stating it could see the light of day as early as the end of August. Mobile Today managed to corner an LG spokesperson and coax this launch date info out of them. It’s still quite vague but at least its straight from the horses mouth so to speak.
The KU990 ‘NYX’ is a five-megapixel toting handsets based on the heavily touch-sensitive Prada KE850 with rumoured video recording capabilities that will trounce the N95. Legend has it the ‘NYX’ can capture at 120fps second in QVGA quality (320×240 pixels) resolution. New infomation gleaned from Mobile Today also suggest it can also playback video in slow motion.
