24/7 football launches on T-Mobile

24/7 T-Mobile

As we reported as being likely a couple of weeks back, T-Mobile has just launched its 24/7 ‘live’ football service that’s based on Sky Sports. T-Mobile says:

T-Mobile customers with 2G or 3G handsets can download video clips of every Premiership goal to their phone whenever they want them. Content includes in–game clips, highlight clips, previews and round ups. The first month of unlimited viewing is free after which, it costs as little as 50p per clip or £5 per month for unlimited clips. The overall T-Mobile Mobile TV service provides customers with a mix of live streamed content and video on demand clips.

We couldn’t see much sign of the ‘live’ content when we had a look (mobile video isn’t the same as mobile TV), but you can sign-up for the 24/7 service over on T-Mobile’s website, and also read more about its general TV packages.
