Showing Me, showing O2

O2 logo.jpgO2 has secured a deal with BBC Worldwide’s Digitial Media division to show mobile video clips of some of the broadcaster’s biggest TV shows such as Doctor Who, The Office, Little Britain, League of Gentlemen and I’m Alan Partridge.

O2’s Active mobile Internet portal will host around 3,00 pieces of content for viewing or downloading, including clips from the shows as well as branded content like wallpapers and ringtones. More content and more shows will be added over time.

O2 is the third UK operator to show BBC clips on its mobile Internet service, following similar deals signed by 3 and Orange.
