Orb, maker of the MyCasting streaming media service that’s among those loaded in 3’s Gold X-Series, has just announced the registration of its one-millionth user. MyCasting allows you to stream the content of your PC’s music and video library to your mobile device (if you have the data plan to cope with it).
Apparently there have been 55.81 million streaming sessions using the MyCasting software, and the top three music artists who’ve been streamed are… Pink Floyd, Linkin Park, Metallica. Jeez, who would’ve thought that tech geeks might be into the Floyd and Metal Licker? Shocking. No, really.
