Jump aboard 3’s Turbo 3G mobile internet now and get a free USB modem

3Turbo3UK has just announced the 18-month tariffs for its new 3Turbo mobile broadband service for laptops, which is set to go live on 4th September. Sweet speeds of up to 2.8Mb/s are hoped for, and if you register for the mid-level service plan prior to launch date, you’ll get the required USB modem free, saving £69.

3 is aiming to have the service up and running in central London and across the north of England for launch day. The map on the right shows planned coverage by November (all the green bits), which should extend to all cities in southern England with populations over 200,000.

Price-wise, there are three monthly plans on offer: 1GB data for £10, 3GB data for £15, and 7GB for £25. The USB modem (which is Win 2000, XP, Vista and Mac compatible), is priced at £99, £69, and £49 respectively, with a £20 discount for existing 3 customers. Seems like a pretty sweet deal to us — head over to the 3 site to find out more.
