We’ve long been fans of Warelex’s Mobiola Web Camera app, which allows you to use your mobile’s camera as a PC web cam over Bluetooth or USB. Now SmartCam has come along, offering the same functionality — for free.
This being a freeware app, you probably shouldn’t expect the same level of support as you might from a paid-for product, but if you’re running a Symbian handset and Win XP then it seems pretty obvious to say you should check this out. We’d be interested to hear how you get on, too.
Head over to the SmartCam page on SourceForge to find out more.

Can’t get this to work at all.

I’ve tried a couple of times, but doesn’t recognise COM port.
I can’t be arsed to mess about with reconfiguring etc, and don’t don’t know how anyway.
I give up!
