Thanks to MoDaCo for this one: the upcoming HTC Touch Slide, thought to be due for official announcement later today (1st October). The Touch Slide features the same TouchFLO interface as the standard Touch, but adds that slide out QWERTY/ numeric keypad combo.
Specs include a 2MP shooter, HSDPA high-speed data, microSD expansion, and a 400Mhz processor to run Windows Mobile 6. Other rumours point toward 128MB RAM (double that in the Touch), and the inclusion of wi-fi (likely, as it’s in the Touch). We should find out the truth later today… But in the meantime, hit the jump to see a comparison shot of the Touch Slide, HTC’s TyTN II, and an iPhone.

Update: the Touch Slide Dual has been officially announced — read the full story here.
