Pictures have emerged of what could be a Nokia N96, but they could just as easily be concept images of a designer’s wet dream.
The pictures emerged on Todo Symbian and even had specs, but with no more news emerging on the web it doesn’t seem like they’re real. Mind you the specs are interesting.
The touchscreen handset (with joystick navigation) apparently features HSDPA, has an internal memory of 10GB, has a 3.2-inch screen with 16 million colours, has wifi, Bluetooth 2.0, Mini USB 2.0, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 3.5mm headphone jack, four(!) speakers, Digital TV and FM radio.
This all sounds impressive, perhaps too impressive, but the claim that the device has a six-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and a ‘motion sensor’ lead us to believe this is a very well conceived fake.
Check out the pics for yourself here.
