Sony Ericsson’s much-anticipated new ‘iPhone killer’, the W960i is still getting a delayed launch early next year, but sadly it won’t come with a Bluetooth headset.
At least that’s what rumours are saying after a white paper was released on a Sony Ericsson developer website.
When the W960i was first announced it was trumpeted as coming with a boxed Bluetooth headset (the DS220), as well as wired stereo handsfree earphones. This would have been a neat idea, offering a choice of how you wanted to listen to your music from your phone.
Unfortunately, it seems Sony Ericsson has changed its mind after all and won’t include the headset in the sales package. Presumably this was due to the cost. Here’s hoping Sony Ericsson changes its mind.
