Although popular with almost every other demographic, the iPhone has failed to grip the business community with many citing poor Microsoft Exchange support (which has thus far been limited to IMAP functionality) as the chief reason.
Well it looks like business users may soon be getting a very good reason to join the party if this undated job listing is anything to go by. The listing reads that Apple is looking for a -
motivated, highly-technical Exchange test/sync engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills.
The listing continues:
You will join a dynamic team responsible for qualifying the latest iPhone products. Your focus will be testing Exchange and Outlook functionality with Apple’s innovative new phone.
If that’s not a smoking gun we don’t know what is. Looks like the iPhone may be about to hook one of the most important consumer groups yet.
