If you needed any more proof that iPhone is a hot handset, check out Google’s year-end Zeitgeist chart, which tracks the fastest rising search terms for 2007. Note, that’s different to the most popular - presumably Britney Spears still stands astride that chart like a wobbly colossus.
Anyway iPhone comes top of the Zeitgeist chart, beating out the likes of Facebook, YouTube, Second Life and Badoo. Whatever Badoo is. It just goes to show there’s a lot of people out there searching for news and information on Apple’s handset, although we’d like to see Google break out the information a bit.
For example, it’d be interesting to see how popular ‘unlocked iPhone’ is compared to, say, ‘iPhone applications’ or even ‘getting iPhone camera to take half-decent photos’. In the meantime, watch out for many more ‘Get Facebook and YouTube on iPhone’ stories on here… ;o)
