SMS Planner sends multiple messages at multiple times

smsplannerscreenshots.gifIf your social life is soooo busy you need to make a plan for when you are going to send text messages, then frankly we are a little envious. At any rate, a new application from Aglaya called SMS planner might be useful for those with more friends than they have time to keep up with, as it allows you to asign a time and date to any message you write and then, as long as your phone is switched on, the message will be sent automatically at the time specified.

What’s even more impressive is that you can assign up to 1000 contacts to the same message and they will all be sent simultaneously without crashing your phone. Nevermind socialites, this could be a wonderous tool for promoters who want to get their wares out there for a reasonable price (mind you at 15p each that would be a £150 message).

Mind you, it could be just as useful for ensuring that you don’t forget to send on your best birthday wishes to your pals. The asking price for SMS Planner is 6.94 and it is available now.

… or you could simply use on online service like Txtlocal (http://www.txtlocal.co.uk) which is free to join and charges around 5p per message!

Also has the added benefit of importing, mailmerge, inbound forwarding (email, webservers, mobile) and a very cool group bounce where yo can send a message from your own handset and it gets bounced to an online group of mobiles stored on your account.

    Cheers,

    Steve.
