RSS Newsfeed specialists NewsGator have released their range of RSS reader applications - FeedDemon, NetNewsWire and NewsGator Go! - as freeware.
The first two are for Windows and Mac OS X, respectively but NewsGator Go! runs on Windows Mobile, Blackberry OS 4.0 and Java Mobile so it’s right up our street here at Pocket Picks.
If you have used an RSS reader before you’ll know what to expect - NewsGator pulls down the RSS feeds from your favourite websites and displays the current blog posts, news items, etc.
NewsGator Go! allows one-handed operation (keep your filthy jokes to yourself) and will download both text and streaming media for offline browsing.
If you use any of the other NewsGator products on your desktop, another nice feature is synchronisation between all your readers -if you mark something as read on NewsGator Go! it will be marked as read on your desktop reader as well.
