Watch phones never have taken off, have they? Mainly because muttering into your wrist makes you look like a berk. Maybe the advent of Bluetooth headsets will revive their fortunes. Or maybe not.
At least the Cool G108 looks suitably space-age, with its glowing blue keypad, although it’s straddling the line between ‘high tech gadget’ and ‘compact lady’s mirror’ if I’m honest.
It’s also a bit underpowered, being a GPRS phone with a 160×128 resolution screen, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and just 0.5MB of memory (albeit with a memory card slot for expansion. I’m glad it exists. I just can’t imagine buying it.

Just bought this watch and I love it. It’s entirely subjective of course. The reception is clear; the camera is surprisingly good for the size of the unit; the screen is bright and colourful and the handsfree works great. Intuitive menu is good - which offsets the terrible manual (which I suspect has been through computer translation). Remains to be seen if bluetooth works well - but I’ve no reason to suspect it won’t.
One thing is the thickness. I don’t mind the width - that’s part of it’s subjective charm for me (I love the clamshell design and the circular aspect is almost steampunkish!). But the thickness is about equal to those outdoors watches with the rubberised casing cover. I am vry happy with it.

it looks like shit, seriously! watch phones are a great idea when coupled with bluetooth headsets but this is shocking. looks like 5 year old designed it!!
