The Meffys are one of the mobile industry’s most glitzy awards ceremonies, taking place during the MEM conference every year. It’s next month in Cannes, so organiser the Mobile Entertainment Forum has announced the shortlist for this year’s awards.

Submissions came from 21 countries on four continents, apparently, with expert panels of judges, and a new category - Quality of Experience - which was judged by focus groups of mobile users.

The awards is on 8th May in Cannes (we’ll be reporting live from the event), with the ceremony due to be hosted by TV presenter Suzi Perry. That’s her above. The shortlist follows after the jump.
