It’s not often that we will encourage our readers to read other blogs, but it’s not often that a company blog as refreshing and genuinely interesting as Nokia’s new mildly pretentious sounding Nokia Conversations comes along.
The idea behind the site is that it will feature posts concerning current areas of research, interest and trends that already exist as a dialogue between Nokia employees. The content isn’t necessarily news in the conventional sense but rather an elucidation of Nokia related issues that are both driving and hindering the mobile industry.
In our quick coffee break research of the site, we came across some really intriguing snippets such as a follow up piece on the Nokia Morph concept phone and a thoughtful slice concerning Near Field Communication tech (which Nokia is currently making puppy eyes at).
There is the odd bit of shameless plugging but mostly, the site is basically a breezy and easy to digest official Nokia blog with a refreshing slant on behind the scenes developments and opinions, delivered with a bit of that personal touch that good blogs thrive on. A series of press releases cynically reworked into blog form, this is not.
So after you have finished devouring every word of our sage like posts for today, it could be worth checking out.
