It’s not as if we have long to wait to see some glossy official pictures of the device but it seems that some very legitimate pics of the new iPhone have been leaked and frankly, we can’t think of a better way to start a Monday morning.
If the images are the real deal, it looks like the reports about the new colors and the tapered back are true. Not only that but the image of the face of the device confirms that video chat will be one of the device’s new defining features. Both the red and black variants are 16GB models and appear to be thinner than the original iPhone even though they include stereo speakers on the rear.
The images which were originally posted on CrunchGear are apparently part of Apple and AT&T’s promotional material and were sent in by a tipster. CrunchGear also successfully outed the third generation iPod Nano prior to its official unveiling so we are quite prepared to believe that these images are the real deal.
The iChat blurb on the document reads:
Video just became a little more fun. Start a real time video chat with other AT&T subscribers via 3G networking, or with iChat buddies via WiFi. The video calling revolution has begun.
Not only that but the document also mentions that there will be full Microsoft Exchange support which should really help the iPhone gain a foothold in the business world.
Quite a dramatic early reveal we’re sure you will agree. Hit the jump for more pics.
