What did people do with their spy shots and secret information about mobile phones before the internetweb existed? Actually, that’s a ridiculous question, since the web was big before mobile phones in terms of consumer penetration. But anyway. The latest phone to be seemingly leaked online is the Sony Ericsson C905. It’s an eight-megapixel camera phone with Cyber-shot branding, which according to Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog is due to be announced on the 17th June. The camera will apparently have auto focus, face recognition, image stabilisation and a Xenon flash, while the phone’s built-in GPS will let you geotag your photos. There’ll be an accelerometer used for motion-sensing games and tilty interfaces, a 2.4-inch QVGA-resolution screen, and an optional TV-Out Cable to show off your snaps on the nearest big screen. Oh, and Wi-Fi too, HSDPA data speeds, and a bundled 2GB memory card. Cor. If it’s real, it could be one of the hottest handsets this summer. Roll on 17th June, when we should find out.
