O2 has been promising that existing iPhone owners will get first dibs on the new 3G version when it goes on sale next week, but how? I’m registered for the early-bird alert, and have just received an email confirming… that there’s no news yet. Or, as they put it: “We will be writing to you again before the 11th with details about how you could place your order.”
However, there’s more news in the email. Check this out: “We do expect demand for iPhone 3G to be very high so orders will be processed on a first come, first served basis so that we can be fair to all customers. Orders will be limited to one iPhone 3G per customer.”
So there you have it.
