O2 to limit 3G iPhone to one per customer

iphone-in-hand.jpgO2 has been promising that existing iPhone owners will get first dibs on the new 3G version when it goes on sale next week, but how? I’m registered for the early-bird alert, and have just received an email confirming… that there’s no news yet. Or, as they put it: “We will be writing to you again before the 11th with details about how you could place your order.”

However, there’s more news in the email. Check this out: “We do expect demand for iPhone 3G to be very high so orders will be processed on a first come, first served basis so that we can be fair to all customers. Orders will be limited to one iPhone 3G per customer.”

So there you have it.
